PA Wanted – Canterbury Area

I am looking for a PA to help support my 8 year old son who has ASD.  My little boy loves the outdoors, trains and being active. We live in Canterbury.

Help would be required mostly at weekends and school holidays, for up to 6 hours per week.

The applicant should have experience of working with children: having an understanding of ASD and related behaviours would be good. The applicant would also need to have an up to date DBS check or be willing to have a check done. Having their own transport would be an advantage.

PA Wanted – Tonbridge Area

We are looking for a PA for a young lady with autism. She is a very friendly, loveable girl, with a great sense of fun.

She would ideally like to be taken out shopping, trips to the cinema,  going on train and bus journeys and, most importantly, all girly activities. A car driver would be preferred, but not essential.

We are looking for someone who could work 4 hours, either Saturday or Sunday, every other weekend and a day or two during college holidays.

Position Available:        Personal Assistant

Outline of role:                To provide support and assistance to my child, to enable her to achieve maximum personal benefit from their everyday life.

About My Child:              My four year old daughter is visually impaired with an undiagnosed genetic condition which affects them sitting up, rolling over, walking , talking, drinking and eating. With 1-1 support my child is trying to reach their goals of sitting up independently, taking steps and learning about the world. My child loves nursery rhymes, bouncing, and funny sounds.

Main Tasks:

  • Help in and out of the bed
  • Help with dressing
  • Help with showering/bathing
  • Help using the toilet or changing pads
  • Help with getting from the bed to the chair
  • Cooking and preparing meals and/or drinks
  • Support with feeding pureed food and thickened fluids.
  • Maintaining a clean surrounding after use or completing a task. This can include soiled laundry and household cleaning/Pushchair etc.
  • Assisting my Child to participate in various social activities, as per my instructions, this may include going to physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, going shopping, attending classes, meeting friends, trips to the park etc.
  • Play therapy at home, sitting, rolling, playing with toys

This is not a list of everything that you may be asked you to do.

PA Wanted – Hythe Area

I am currently looking for a PA to work with my 11 year old son who has a speech and language disorder and complex epilepsy.

I am looking for a PA who is trained to respond to epilepsy (Buccolam trained), or who has some medical experience to support him by accompanying him to several leisure activities in Hythe each week.

PA Wanted – Ashford Area

We are looking for a female PA to work with our 11 year old daughter who has high functioning autism and extreme anxiety.

She enjoys baking  swimming, arts and crafts, trampolining and watching YouTube. We are looking for someone who will be able to encourage her to leave the house/go to school (she is a non-attender) and have fun experiences with someone other than her mum and dad.

We have funding for 8 hours a week initially which may be split between a weekday and a weekend (term time and holidays. We need someone flexible to meet our daughters’ needs.

PA Wanted – Longfield Area

We are looking for a PA for our 23 year-old daughter.

The role would be for 12-16 hours a week, Monday to Wednesday, approximately 10am to 3pm. This is to enable her to access hydrotherapy, Zumba and shopping at Bluewater.

Personal care will be required and the PA will need a driving licence and their own car, insured for business use.
